Histories in Colour is born out of the interests of Emma Giessmann, a Melbourne-based Social Historian and Curator. With a decade of experience across the cultural sector in museums, galleries, and heritage places both in Australia and abroad she brings with her skills in research and curation, collections management, writing for policy and procedures, and digital-based engagement.

Driven by a desire to safeguard shared, and community-based histories she brings passion, expertise, and attention to detail to accomplish every project – big or small.
